Happy New Year!

Well, it's been an interesting process, to say the least!

My first album, 'The Wilderness of Intuition' was 'officially' released (on my own record label, Blood from Turnips Music) on September 23, 2010. As I've never released a full-length album before, there was lots and lots to take care of, besides the easy stuff like creating the songs! All kinds of paperwork crap, copyrights, codes, contracts and such.

I'm hoping to have my first video edited soon (we're aiming for Valentine's Day, 2011) for the song 'Liar', and will be shooting more videos this year that will be done when they're done, I suppose.

I'm back in the studio, recording my second album with Jamie Seyberth producing again, and we are three songs in, working on the fourth right now; it will most likely be another twelve-song album. We are also recording some traditional Winter Solstice songs for the upcoming holiday season, which is only eleven months away! I've got a small magenta Christmas tree near my piano for inspiration.

I will also be looking into getting some kind of press this year for 'The Wilderness of Intuition' and booking some shows.

The most important thing I've learned from this experience is how much I love writing songs and singing, and am forging ahead whether anyone's listening or not. Call me crazy (it wouldn't be the first time)!
